Former Chair of the International Council for Information Technology
in Government Administration (ICA) with 29 member countries representing Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. Currently, I am one of two life members serving in various support roles.
Former Chair of the United States Federal Interagency Committee for Information Resources Management.
Built the Trail Boss program which graduated 1,300 Federal major system managers to manage the one hundred million dollar systems in the government.
In coordination with 20 universities, I organized the 1000x2000 program to develop 1,000 of the next generation of senior IT managers for the U.S. government.
Organized the five (1999-2003) North American Day discussions between senior Canadian, Mexican, and United States officials.
Served as the United States delegate to the G8 Government Online Program.
Founder and former Chair of the Intergovernmental Advisory Board with Federal State and local government policy officials and Chief Information Officers to identify
e-Government issues that will be important to the three levels of government.
Founder and former Co-Chair of the Partnership for Intergovernmental Innovation (Pi2) with Federal, State, County, and industry participation to eliminate barriers to cross-government collaboration.
Established the Information Technology Resources Board (ITRB) to review major troubled systems in the US government and to provide guidance for corrective action.
Founder and former Chair of the Government Without Boundaries program to build a virtual pool of government services across four levels of governments.
